These Are the Days: Valentine's Day

So somehow I went all the way through the day thinking it was February 13^th somehow. I didn’t realize it was Valentine’s Day until I looked at everyone’s away messages saying it was. So how does a single guy observe Valentine’s Day? By mocking it of course. Now, now, I am not bitter at all women or anything, this is an instance of my sarcasm so to my millions of adoring women readers, don’t be offended. Everything here is 100% sarcasm, next year I am sure I will be in a relationship & back to my disgustingly romantic self.

1^st, this is an actual conversation I had with my barber this afternoon. He has been my barber for almost 10 years now & always has great advice & stories like this for me. The guy comes with the highest recommendations from me, Centurion Hairstylist, DePere, 336-3433. I can’t make this shit up…

Barber: You’re a lucky man, u get to save a few bucks today…

Me: Yea…not a bad deal at all…

Barber: Do you think I should get the wife something?

Me: Of course…go simple…Flowers, Seroogy’s Chocolate…You know…

Barber: We have been married a lot of years so I am not getting anything for the flowers & she has packed on a lot of pounds over those years…She isn’t getting candy…

Me: ROFL!

Today brought some exciting news. This is the point in my article where I show just how gay I am. I was trolling around Amazon just before class & found this gem. Tim McGraw finally has a new CD coming out March 28^th. If you didn’t know, you now know Tim is my #1 gangsta. Love his music. He is also going on tour with Faith. I don’t even have tickets yet & I am stoked to see “Like We Never Loved At All” live.

To all the couples out there, Happy Valentine’s Day. To all the singles out there, I cheers the Bud I am drinking to you. No this isn’t me drinking alone either, this is me studying & drinking…way different.
