Great Fall of China

Thanks to Static.iftk.com for the pics. These are from an exposé entitled ‘World’s Most Dangerous Roads.’ The other pics are amazing but these were my favorites. The subject matter is an actual path getting to an outpost on Mt.Huashan in China. Why can’t we have destinations like this in the US?

Dante's Inferno

Thanks to FoxNews.com for both images. This 1st pic is of some work being done on some railroad tracks in the picturesque state of W-I.

This 2nd one proves Americans have some catching up to do if they want to learn how to protest as the Lebanese do.

Thank you to flickr.com for the pic. Apparently Tetris is not limited to your 8 bit Nintendo or 10th grade calculus class.

Whole Lot of Water

No story here. It rained too much & this street looks eerily similar to a Piggly Wiggly parking lot. Somebody stop Chris from driving through it.

Poor Cow

This is a pic of a cow caught in the snow out west. I am unsure why I like the pic so much. It may just be my WI roots.

Paradise?

First, thanks to http://www.metro.co.uk/ for the pic. Ok, this may just be the wildest picture I have seen in a while. The colors are amazing. (It actually reminded me of a couple mudslide pictures I found last year, below.)

Anyway…. an explanation… This is an actual island off the coast of Panama called Soledad Miria. You ask what is going on? Apparently someone on this island of 1,00 lit their gas stove & it promptly blew up. The ensuing inferno consumed roughly half the residences around it in 10 minutes. I have no idea how a crazy small island village puts out an inferno, but they did so without losing a life. It looks as though someone attended their Christmas services.
