Hurricane Wilma

Another hurricane is bearing down on the Gulf Coast. At 1 point it was the strongest Hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic. Having family down in Florida, I obviously get a little jumpy when I see doomsday headlines flash across my computer screen. In fact, last year my uncle’s condo was destroyed on the coast while he weathered the storm on in a gymnasium or something.

The latest hurricane is scheduled to nail my brother on Monday. On 1 hand, Although he is inland, you just say a little prayer & kind of hope everything is alright. On the other hand, he is my brother. 1 of his stated goals before he left in January was to experience a hurricane. To be honest, I don’t blame him. I love rain & thunderstorms, & although extreme, it would be something you could tell your grandkids about. Huge snowstorms are cool, but a freaking hurricane. Tornadoes, torrential rain, 175 mph wind gusts, flying debris are just a few of the variable you get to deal with.

I am unsure why I actually wrote this Blog other than when Hurricane Wilma hits, know my brother is having a good old time.
