These Are the Days

The streak continues, I nailed another shoplifter today. This one was a team apprehension with my main man Cole. If you our not up to date on this, check out my previous COPS Blog.

This kid walks in the store, I look at him, & immediately decide I should be following the punk walks right into the medicine aisle & out of the store. I was pissed because I had missed the angle & a shot at getting him.

As I am telling Cole about the situation the kid comes back in. There is no freaking way this is happening. I take a good angle this time & the kid walks out of the aisle towards the back of the store with something in his hand. He circled around to aisle 2 & made his break for T-Bell. I went sprinting up front got Cole & we went out to get the little bastard. We stopped him, had him empty his pockets and out comes some Visine in a little white bottle.

Not only is the kid a freaking thief, he is a weed smoking hippy too. Druggies are fags, thieving drugs are really fags. I grabbed his shoulder & we began escorting him into the store. After a few steps he broke towards the lot. I already had a hold on the shoulder slowing him down, but Cole but this amazing move on the kid & had him down in a second before he could even get a second step in. With my choking grip on his collar (I tore the shirt.), he unfortunately gave up. Both Cole & I were looking to brawl with this kid. He may have been 16 but was built bigger than both of us. I was going to go straight Rock Bottom on his ass with a People's Elbow, don't doubt it. It would have been a blast. We literally dragged the little bastard into the store at the height of the afternoon rush, it was awesome. He was tossed into the office & we stood guard waiting for the cops to come.

Officer Vosters showed up & handled the situation with one interesting result. The kid, in his struggle, caught Cole with an elbow & the officer offered to press assault charges. Not being hurt helped, but his 16 years of age really helped the punk get out of charges as Cole declined to press them. Really, who wants to press assault charges against a 16 year old?

But anyway…The hot streak is alive! Taking a bite out of crime…:Cue Cops Theme:
